Discus and support notifacations for messages and party/game invites are poping up on pc but nothing on xbox ... in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; It's been like this for a couple of days now and it's starting to get annoying I've tried doing a hard reset but its still not working, anyway to fix...     notifacations for messages and party/game invites are poping up on pc but nothing on xbox ...


    It's been like this for a couple of days now and it's starting to get annoying I've tried doing a hard reset but its still not working, anyway to fix it?

    Party & game invites go to PC Xbox App!?

    I have dual screen so using the Xbox App on my PC is alot faster to send messages / ask for invites & etc.

    But, recently everytime someone invites me instead of it popping out on my Xbox One S it pops out on my PC and joins the party on the PC instead of the system.

    Same with game invites it goes to PC and says, can't locate the game.

    Any help?

    Ray, you're mistaken. You can have up to 8 participants in party chat, not Skype. As for how many participants are allowed in the Skype app, I'm actually not sure, but I imagine it's the same as however many are allowed on the PC version of Skype. notifacations for messages and party/game invites are poping up on pc but nothing on xbox ... ;)

    Yes, you can invite players to your game and to your party.

    The Xbox One uses a notification system similar to the Xbox 360, so if someone sends you a message/invite/etc., you'll see it pop up on the bottom of your screen. If you hold down the Xbox button in the middle of your controller, it will go to the message/accept
    the invite/etc. The message/party/etc. will then pop up on the right side using the snap-center.

    I dont get party invites on my Xbox game bar - PC VERSION

    Xbox companion app is discontinued, and the "Party Invitations" and "Games" notification settings are nonexistent in the Xbox PC app. Settings for invites and messages are all on the Game Bar app for PC.

    You'll just have to make sure these settings are checked after reinstalling the game bar @ (Game Bar)Settings>Notifications>Xbox Social>Notify me when I'm invited to a party or multiplayer game

    thats strange, for me on pc the same happens. i get an onfly message but in the xbox app there are no messages or party invites for me.

    Hey there

    Has far has i understand it the companion app old name xbox app doesnt have party chat or notes for some things like game invites and party invites these are now done though game bar.

    The app itsself is a compaion app for things like streaming too PC checking the store messages
