    I would like to preface this by stating, I understand these are the cutting edge of updates for the Xbox and hiccups are expected.

    Earlier today, after the most recent alpha skip ahead update (OS version: 10.0.19041.4733), I went to move an installed game from my external HDD, to my external SSD. Upon doing so everything is broken.

    First off the game, and all 29 of it's DLC add-ons won't stop copying over, which I've tried to "Cancel all" 3 times now after hard resetting. Alongside this, any game or app I have installed will not launch. Consistently getting the "[Insert game or app title] took too long to start. [Error Code ####]". I've tried multiple gamepass games (No disc involved), as well as multiple disc installed games, alongside a large amount of apps. Nothing will launch!

    Even the Xbox Insider hub, and Xbox insider hub beta apps won't start, because at this point I'm trying to leave the skip-ahead ring and go back to the stock dashboard.

    Anyone else having these issues? I've never had problems this big.

    Fill out a detailed report, giving make and model of headset you use and send it to the development team.

    I am in Alpha Skip ahead and sometimes get these issues. You could try backing out of the Insider program, to a public build and seeing if things work.

    Remember Alpha and Alpha Skip Ahead are the cutting edge OS builds and can be full of bugs.

    To emphasise; this is a new problem. I've streamed hundreds of hours of gaming with this exact set up and as far as I can tell nothing has changed from my perspective. Unless there had been an update to either the app or the Xbox?
    Since you say you are in Alpha Skip Ahead, and that issue happened just now, please file feedback via the Xbox Insider App, and check the

    Xbox Insider Reddit     if others have similar issues.

    It might be an issue introduced in a Skip Ahead version. So please inform the team of your issue via the Feedback option and through the Insider Reddit.

    EDIT: It seems that other
    Alpha and Alpha Skip Ahead Users have the same issue    . So it's not an issue with your setup, but a bug that was introduced in this Alpha/Skip Ahead.

    You'll just have to wait until that issue gets resolved, and remember to file feedback!

    This is a known issue with the latest Alpha Skip Ahead Insider preview. Check Xbox Insider Forum on Reddit. This forum is for General release OS.
