Nothing on my xbox will load

None of the apps on my xbox will load, some are just a loading screen and others just crash. I have uninstalled are reinstalled games however the same thing is still happening. I have also restarted the xbox, and also unplugged it. The only thing I can think of that caused this is that a parent account was added to change the game restrictions, I have removed this account to see if the issue would be fixed however it has not. I have looked for other people with this problem and tried everything suggested to resolve it however none of it has worked. How can i resolve this.

Hi, Kali! Thank you for your reply and the additional information

Would you mind performing a soft factory reset on your console? By "Soft" I mean that none of your games will be uninstalled, but accounts and local save data will be removed from the console. This would help refresh your system, as well as clear any temporary files that may be causing this.

To do so:

- Go to Settings > System > Console info > Reset Xbox > Keep games and apps.
- Keep in mind you will need an internet connection and your account details (for each account) to sign in again.

* Note: Resetting your console to its factory defaults erases all accounts, saved games, settings, and home Xbox associations. Anything not synchronized with Xbox Live will be lost. If your console has been constantly connected to the internet and the Xbox Network, your saved data should be backed up on the cloud.

I am using an xbox series s.

i dont have any external storage units plugged in.

and i am not getting a "took too long to start" message, the games are either crashing as soon as i click them or just displaying the icon for the game.

yes that is everything i have tried so far, i have also checked the internet connection and it says that the xbox is connected

• May I ask which Xbox model you are using?

• Do you have any external storage units plugged into your console?

• Are you, by any chance, getting "Took too long to start" or a similar error upon trying to launch a game/app?

• Just to be sure, is this everything you've tried so far?

- Reinstalling your games.
- Restarting your console.
- Unplugging your console.
- Removing the parent account.
