    Nothing is showing even with HDMI plugged in


    I turned my One S sometime this morning to find that not only did the startup screen take a while to load past bit that there was a blank screen instead of the profile selection screen. Restarting didn't work, nor did turning it off. Plus, the screen only brightened up a little is when I pressed Home on my controller. What can I do?

    Yes, the TV is showing a "no signal" even changing the HDMI port and cable. And no, nothing else is conected to the console other that HDMI and power cables =(

    Let's at least test if the console is able to at least output any video (even 1080p). Does it show up on the screen when plugged into the other HDMI ports?

    You say you hear sound sometimes. Have you also made sure you plugged the HDMI cable into the HDMI-out port (and not the HDMI-in) of the Xbox?

    My main problem is that no video showed up when the hdmi cable is plugged into both devices. The HP monitor just kept searching for video but nothing works.. any help?
