Not receving verification code to verify account

Based on a Microsoft article,

If you get an email about unusual activity on your Microsoft account, or if you’re worried that someone else might have used your account, go to the Recent Activity page.

You’ll see when your Microsoft account was signed in during the last 30 days, along with any device or app-specific info.

Since you are unable to receive the verification codes from your Microsoft account, it may be possible that the security information (email or phone number ) is different from the Gmail associated with your Microsoft account.

The only best option to recover your account is to submit a request via the account recovery webform here on this link:

After submitting the request, you will receive the results within 24 hours.

If so, do you have access to your security information (email or mobile number) on your Microsoft account?

To confirm this, kindly sign in your Microsoft account on account.microsoft.com > then go to Security.

actually im not able to have access to my account since my laptop broke but i have a gmail account of it but the problem is thay im not receiving any email from Microsoft and when i want to login it says:

We have detected unusual activity on your Microsoft account -#&#&@gmail.com, or believe your credentials are at risk.

For your security and to ensure only you have access to your account, we will ask you to verify your identity and change your password.

The console is not involved. This is a problem with your account, and you must verify the account as requested. If you didn't get the code, then clock on I DIDN'T GET THE CODE and the system will try the next available verification method

The verification code is a form of security on your account whenever you make critical changes on it just like changing the password. If you do no longer have access on your account's security proofs, you may add a new one where you can receive the verification
code, however, there would be a 30 days lockdown before the changes takes effect not unless you were able to verify ownership of your account using the verification code.
