Not Receiving Sign-In Verification codes for Xbox App

Hello Qwinems, sorry you’re dealing with this. Not being able to access your account, especially while paying for Game Pass, is really frustrating. I'm happy to lend a hand finding a solution here.

Try signing in through a web browser at account.microsoft.com instead of the Xbox App. That will help to determine if the issue is with the Xbox App or with your account. If you can sign in on the website, try switching your verification method to a phone number or a verification app instead of an email.

If you’re able to get the code through the browser but the Xbox app still won’t cooperate, try resetting the Xbox app. You can do that by going to Settings > Apps > Xbox App > Advanced options > Reset. Then, reset the Microsoft Store by typing wsreset into the Run dialog (Windows key + R).

Thank you for the response, I mostly only noted the two emails as means to explain that I am still able to receive the verification email, but for only one account, when I need it sent to the other account, and it's only when I try to sign in on the app store and Xbox apps that it requires me to use a verification code.

I can log in just fine elsewhere, like xbox.com and my console, just not the app store/ Xbox companion app on PC (because I'm not getting the verification that isn't going to my email)

If that doesn't work, you may have enabled two step verification.

You have two choices with two step verification, generate an app password and use that in place of your regular password or disable two step verification and use your regular password.
