Not Receiving Reward Points after purchases

I tell you in advance so that there are no misunderstandings, this is a public forum for user-to-user support. We are users who help other users. We do not work for Microsoft and do not have access to any user accounts.

That's correct, you do not receive reward points for purchasing game add-ons. You will only receive reward points for purchasing full games.

In the case of Avatar Frontiers of Pandora, the game was released on March 25, 2023. If you purchased the game before March 25, you may have received reward points. However, if you purchased the game after March 25, you will not receive reward points.

In the case of Destiny 2 Lightfall, the game will be released on August 24, 2023. If you purchase the game before August 24, you may receive reward points. However, if you purchase the game after August 24, you will not receive reward points.

If you want to make sure you receive reward points for purchasing a game, you can check the Xbox rewards page before making your purchase. The rewards page will display all games that award reward points.

Here are some tips to get reward points for purchasing games:

Buy new and popular games. New, popular games typically award more reward points than older or less popular games.

Buy games on the Xbox Store. Games purchased from the Xbox Store earn more reward points than games purchased from other stores.

Buy games with an Xbox Game Pass subscription. Games purchased with an Xbox Game Pass subscription also earn reward points.

We see you were Rewarded for your purchases in January. Keep in mind that as stated in our FAQ, pre-orders are not eligible for MyVIP:

What content on the Xbox Store is eligible for MyVIP?

Normally, most purchases for Xbox 360 and Xbox One from the Xbox Store qualify, including full Games on Demand titles (excluding game pre-orders), arcade games, indie games, game add-ons, game Season Passes, movies, TV shows, TV seasons, themes and avatar
items. In-game consumables, Xbox Live Gold memberships, Groove Music Passes, Microsoft Movies & TV Season Passes, and the purchase or redemption of Microsoft Points or Xbox Gift Cards, still do not qualify.

However, these pre-orders were eligible for the Games on Demand pre-order offer, and awarded two punches out of three required to complete the offer.

Furthermore, we only schedule a deposit automatically at 5000 or more pending Credits. Since your pending Credit amount is beneath this amount, it has not been scheduled. If you would like to request a scheduled deposit, you may do so once you are at 1000
or more pending Credits. There will be a button on your MyRewards page.

Support will check on them for you, but keep in mind that in order to receive credits, the purchase either has to be eligible for a specific offer on the site at the time, or you need at least 1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates.

In order to get the credit for the consoles, you also would have needed to purchase them DURING the promotion period in order to receive the rewards points. Reward points for past purchases are not retroactive.

the Simply Rewarding offer, which was your April 12th deposit. However, we see that your Clicker Heroes purchases did not correctly complete the FREE Pass offer that month. We have determined why this occurred, and are correcting your account. You should see
