not receiving promised mixpot free games even after viewing e3 via mixer...been a week already ...

Neither have I - I used the mixer app on my p.c for 2 different shows.

Go to my games and apps and see if they are in the ready to download section

They might be there if you don't have automatic download on

People who watched E3 on mixer got the game from MS as a thank you.

I received the "mixpot" YESTERDAY, even though I never viewed E3 on Mixer. However, I did use Mixer for the first time (yesterday), by actually contributing to the chatroom. Haven't checked for any free downloads, but I certainly wouldn't be alarmed by my
Xbox doing its thing while I was offline. AFAIK, it's called auto updating.

To answer your question, yes. Customers who viewed the E3 event live through Mixer are the only ones eligible to receive the MixPot rewards.

You will need to wait for a few more days according to what the web site faq's say

"When will I receive my Xbox E3 MixPot?

Once you have linked your Mixer account to your Microsoft Account, you will receive your MixPot within a week or less."
