Not receiving payment after having a refund request approved over 2 months ago!

I am writing this as last year ,on the 25 of December 2021, my refund request for Assassins Creed Syndicate was approved. It is now mid February of 2022 and i am still yet to receive any form of payment for my refund despite not being able to even open the game that i was approved to be refunded. So according to Microsofts automated emails, payment into my account would have taken 3-5 business days...its been 2 months...? Despite numerous emails i am yet to get an answer regarding why i have not received a refund despite it having been approved 2 months ago. And why is the game not able to be opened if i still haven’t received any form of a refund? Please help.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

Once the refund has been approved and already stated as "refunded" on your order history (https://account.microsoft.com/billing/orders), it will now depend on your bank on when they will credit back the money but it usually takes 5-7 business days.

You may need to reach out to your bank to have them checked the refund that has been processed.

Has the refund request been approved yet? It can typically take 3 to 5 business days to receive the refund after the refund was approved.

There was a notice on the website a few weeks ago explaining that the refunds were taking longer.

Microsoft Xbox Refunds may take several business days, it depends on which payment method you used.

If you/your friend just filled out the refund request form, it can take time to be approved and 3 to 5 business days to receive the refund after it is approved.

I have asked for a refund several days ago and its almost been two full weeks of not getting a refund!!

There should be no hold up on the refund since it was an accidental purchase made by my son, please revert and refund the payment that has been approved several weeks ago

So im confused. Did you request the refund several days ago or 2 weeks ago? Just asking since you mention both several days and 2 weeks so a little contradictory.
