Not receiving party invites but they pop up in my notification tab

Open the Xbox Guide by pressing the guide button on the controller and select

Settings.

Select Network Settings.

Select Advanced Settings.

Under Change Settings select Alternate MAC Address.

Select Clear.

Allow the console to restart when prompted.

It’s doing it again. This time it’s with party chat. I get notifications on my tablet for achievements and party chat invites but not on my Xbox one.

I also just heard from a friend he has same issues with achievements and party invite notifications not popping up for days.

Just to clarify something further, are you no receiving invites, or are you not receiving notifications of invites?

Invites will still show up in the Multiplayer tab of the
Xbox Guide, so its possible that you may not see the notification pop-up, but they may still be there.

To
change your notification settings, press the Xbox button to open the guide, and then select
System > Settings > Preferences > Notifications.

Go ahead and verify that all your preferences on your account are configured correctly, and let us know if this works for you!

That was what I tried in #4. Again, it doesn't seem to be an issue with the notifications as if that were the case the invites would still appear in my invitations section. I'm not receiving the invites at all. I get messages no problem, the notification
pops up and everything.

It could also be an issue with notifications not popping up on your screen when he sends them. I have regular issues with my notifications not working properly, although they are turned on. Have you tried to check in your Invite tab to see if they're there,
despite you not seeing it pop up on your screen?
