    Live Gold Membership rewards

    I have not been receiving any Microsoft rewards for the past three years for renewing my Live Gold membership. Wondering why.

    Need help from a customer support representative from the xbox live rewards department

    I have been a member of xbox live rewards since the 10th of may 2014 and I stopped receiving e-mails from the rewards program since march 2016 and I have not received any points for the money I have spent on games over the past 2 years on xbox. I spoke to
    xbox support and they said that I needed to update my billing information which I have done and he told me to post here and said that I should be given the points that I didn't get over the past two years.

    Hello Little Joda,

    You registered as a German Rewards Account off of your German Microsoft Account at the time of your registration. Therefore, we are only tracking your purchases made with Euro. Purchases made with a different regional currency are not eligible for Rewards.

    Missing reward points

    Are there any specific offers you're looking for credits from? In order to receive credits, your purchases either have to be eligible for a specific offer on the site at the time, or you need at least 1 star level in order to receive VIP rebates.

    Well I must have done this over the past 2 years and you get points when renewing your gold subscription and purchasing games from the store and I haven't received any from this for the past 2 years...

    Hello YorkshirePud41,

    The program has changed quite a bit since 2014. Currently, you can earn Xbox Live Rewards Credit in two ways:

    1. By finishing the offers located on the MyMissions page at https://rewards.xbox.com/mymissions/ .

    -or-

    2. By earning a one star MyVIP level through purchasing at least $300 USD or regional equivalent of eligible content. After you receive your first star you will begin to earn a percentage of your eligible purchases back as payback Rewards Credit. Pre-orders,
    game consumables, and subscriptions are not eligible for MyVIP.

    In September 2014 we changed to the MyVIP policy. As a result, payback based off Gamerscore (MyAchievements) was discontinued. In September 2015, we made some refinements to the program. One change that happened was an adjustment of MyVIP purchase thresholds.
    If you did not reach any MyVIP ranks with your purchases from September 2014-August 31st 2015, you were placed at a default rank. Also, as of July 2014, we do not award Credits for Xbox Live Gold renewals. Since you are a zero star member, you do not get
    payback Credits on your purchases. You can check your current MyVIP level/progress at (https://rewards.xbox.com/myrewards/).

    For the Xbox One S upgrade offer, you should see those Credits pending up to 15 business days after shipping. If you still do not see them after 15 business, just open up a new post and we can investigate.

    Currently, we are only getting avatar information from the 360, which is why your old avatar is appearing.

    You need to be signed up to rewards to actually receive any, they don't just get bestowed upon you. I hadn't received any for a while, but got 70msp recently, which is little compared to what i should have received over the past year.
