Xbox, parents need your help. I've spoken to a lot of parents who wish we could set time limits for specific games, not just for the Xbox itself. All we have right now is the ability to block and unblock specific games or set time limits on all use
of xbox. The parents I've spoken with have children like mine. They have "issues" that stem from psychological and physical abuse. And many of us still have to send our kids into the Lion's den every week or every other week, because the court erred on
the side of Parental Rights over a child's right to not be mistreated. Some of them have stories and resulting issues worse than mine. We have to be more creative in our discipline, boundary setting and compromises as we go through the healing process with
our kids, and have to undo the damage and reteach the lessons we've taught a million times over every week. Xbox, your "Simple" parental controls are not simple for us. It is NOT simple to have to log in to our account, block a game, then later go back
in a unblock it, every single day. Maybe even several times a day. And that God Forsaken "extend time" pop up....ugh...come on, Xbox. In a perfect world, your parental controls would be magnificent. But, we parents of traumatized children with emotional,
psychological and disciplinary struggles find your parental controls problematic, to say the least. We need to not have to log in and block Fortnite at a specific time every day and remember to unblock it again the next day and remember to block it again.
This is difficult to do for parents who work and can't access our xbox accounts whenever we want to. I want to be able to set up a 2 hour limit on Fortnite, etc, but allow them option of accessing some of the other games that are less "anger inducing" shall
we say. Please consider giving us better/more options. For those that want to just set their controls the way they exist now, they can opt to do that. But for the rest of us, we need something more. Just give us a toggle to "turn on game/app time limits."
and then give us the list of apps and games and allow us to set the time limits on them. For anyone that doesn't want to set specific time limits on specific games and apps, then can just keep that option turned off. That wouldn't be that hard, would it?
"Simple parental controls" should mean they aren't complicated to set up. Your definition of "simple parental controls" means limited options. Not the same thing. PLEASE consider improving your parental controls to include families who don't live in "Leave
    it to Beaver" Land.

    :)

    Hello all,

As this is an old thread, I will be locking this one. Updates, games and everything changes often so would be best to create a new thread. Once a new thread is created we will be happy to assist you in any issues or questions you might have.

    Thanks,

    Brad

    Hello TwoBrick,

As a parent I understand your frustration with this. As mentioned by Parity you can go to Xbox ideas and submit an idea, also if you have other like minded parents they can do the same. If they like or approve the idea it then gets voted on and then may
be implemented. Unfortunately, it will take some time to do this though, so you will have to continue to do it the way you are now.

    Thanks,

    Brad

    "Real issues" with the Beta

These arent legitimate issues as much as they are personal gripes, imo.
