Not powering on properly!

Have an xbox one s. Bought it brand new from retailer. After purchase has stayed in the same place and not moved, there's no visible damages or wear etc

So powers on and the xbox light on the console lights up but no chime on power up. No audio or video output

Checked and changed power supplies and hdmi used different sockets in the house, did power supply reset. Still no life.

It's only just over a year old and not played all day, everyday so really annoyed its happened especially just outside of warranty as xbox won't acknowledge issues despite it being a common one it seems.

Has anyone found the set problem and solution to fixing this at all, ideally don't want to have to fork out for a whole new console so soon after buying this one

I understand how frustrating it must be that you are experiencing issues with your Xbox One S. Based on the steps you've mentioned, it sounds like the console's power supply has failed. Unfortunately, the only option would be getting a new console. Xbox One consoles were discontinued in 2020 and Microsoft is no longer offering out of warranty repairs for these systems. I apologise for any inconvenience caused by this.

I've got a 1Mb internet connection and it works fine and the speedtest shows I'm getting the full 1Mb.

It happens on LIVE and in Single Player, not on all games but just certain parts on some games. e.g In CoD 4 the mission where you have to get to the bottom of the hill from the farm and have air strikes, my Xbox become jittery and sluggish until the smoke
clears, same on certain parts of the sniper mission. On Forza 2 and 3 if I am drifting or doing do-noughts the tyre smoke makes it jittery. On Battlefield 3 single player and on LIVE there are certain maps that have lots of smoke in areas or when buildings
collapse it cause my Xbox to jitter.

If it was a PC I'd put it down to the graphics or processor not being able to handle the game properly and it would be a simple task of adjusting the game graphics or upgrade components. Neither of which can be done with the Xbox

why not be proud of it? its a game of wheeling and dealing and showing your IQ is higher then others... its actually the only game I really play besides destiny here and there.. anytime u want a lesson im more then happy to show u how I have about a 80 percent
winning ratio no matter how the dice fall........

deedles I never played in a private lobby and to be str8 up with you I usually have maybe 2 or 3 people that are on at same time as me that are my friends, then we hope that the 4th and 5th player will finish the game which more times then not they quit,
u guys don't understand the situation I think u need to play monopoly which is a great game with the proper online players I might add.. this was just not right seriously dude.. why would I go on about this?? this is WRONG
