    i just bought the mass effect 3 disk and am trying to play it, but it says it's not playable on the xbox one but on the backwards compatability list it clearly shows that it is backwards compatable.

    mine wont work at all. a box appears saying error, and cant get past loaad screen.

    was looking forwars to playing some tonight!

    My fat xbox does not show game pic on dashboard only says play game. click to start any game it logs live off then returns to dashboard and relogs me back into live. i have tried removing update, clearing cache, resetting up console, changed drives out.
    no luck. plays cd fine. if i try the game details it gives you the 8c230002 code for xbox service. Anyone got a clue. this is getting very old with xbox i have 2 ps3's and never had a issue with them but the 360's i'm on my 4th one in 5 years

    it does the whole 360 loading screen where the green and white things go into the big X, but then the screen goes black

    Hey there!

    Let's start with a simple power cycle on your Xbox One console by holding the power button until the unit fully powers down. If the issue continues after that, try clearing your locale Xbox 360 storage by navigating to 'All settings' within the Xbox One
    guide, scrolling down to system settings and selecting 'Storage'.

    Hey rippen, Updated all my games last night and switched on Pstar golf, Got a free canyon course and all was unlocked again.

    I'm going for Platinum on Dark souls, this is the only reason I haven't been on XB1 except for Titanfall. Just mentioning this as my activities are blank.

    There's 2 reasons why I think this isn't working for the OP (and could potentially be both):

    1) Any GwG games you have must be played online because XBL needs to recognize that you "own" the game and/or a Gold subscription (a limitation of the GwG promotion).

    2) Powerstar Golf recently reverted to a free-to-play model; due to this change, the game may have also been turned into an online-only game as well.

    Yeah it's really quite weird Rippen, In all honesty I can just go online and play. I just didn't want to wait for the update and was downloading allot of "stuff" on my pc and other consoles. But it really got me thinking about countries with worse internet
    then here and limited download space. Just wanted a quick Powerstar bash

    I think you have to physically pull the Ethernet cable( if thats how you are connected) to get it to revert to local saves,even if you select offline. Haven't tried myself. Been connected since launch. i should experiment and see.
