not in family group privacy settings

So I need to change my privacy settings to hear other crews in sea of thieves but i can't access the privacy settings since it says that i am in a family group but I am not in one, after trying to make one, and looking in all the settings i simply can't change them, How do I fix this?

First, please make sure that your birthdate is correct by signing in to https://account.microsoft.com/profile. Once confirmed, sign in to https://account.xbox.com/settings and manage your settings.

Kindly "Allow" the settings that has an arrow on this screenshot:

If you were in a family group listed as a child account the adult of that group still has to change your privacy settings

Unfortunately, child accounts cannot change their Xbox profile privacy settings. Doesn't matter if they are on a family group or not.

If you need to change your privacy settings, you will need to ask a parent to create a family group, invite you to the group as a member and change your privacy settings for you (if you are not on a family group).

You can check if you are on a family group by going to https://family.microsoft.com and see if it shows only your account or other accounts too.

But are you sure you cannot play online because or your privacy settings? Would you please share a screenshot of the message you receive when trying to play online?
