Not having access to something we love because something we couldn’t choose

Hello to Microsoft and its great community

I’m from Iran and I wanted to make a discussion about the effect of sanctions on the gaming community here

As we know our country has been through a lot of sanctions which nevertheless obviously have many effects and one of them is sadly on us gamers! I love my xbox and loved to play games from when I was 9 and it has been my hobby,my first console was a ps4 and then now I have my sweet xbox series x which is literally A BEAST

But not knowing anything I came and got the games I wanted and connected to the internet to join the community and have some fun,well my xbox just said bye (my username here) and I got kicked out of my account I searched it up and found out that we can’t access the xbox live and some players have been banned for being in there and for what? For being born here and problems that our governments have which doesn’t matter to me or any normal person because we love all cultures and respect them for what they are,

Now what xbox did is kicking me out of my account and sometimes even literally (u might not believe it) my xbox turns the internet off!

I know this post won’t change anything but I just want u to know that as a gamer we don’t have and we don’t want to have any participation in the drama between our countries and we just want to have fun and play and I don’t see a reason other than the U.S laws against our country which makes sense but filtering gamers and kinda disrespecting them is not nice

We have been filtered enough from inside and outside for just being gamers

I hope a day comes where we can play and share our experiences together with all the world without needing to worry about anything
