    OK good to know Im not the only one. So far I am discussed with micro soft. Had it since christmas. log in issues constantly. Everything in the house works so I know its not on my end.

    Can't switch the XBox account to a new Microsoft live account

    On the X-Box, I follow the protocol to switch my xbox live account to another Microsoft live account, basicaly here what I'm doing :

    - I sign into xbox live with the account I want to transfer

    - I go to "Account - > Security -> Manage Microsoft live ID" (sorry, my system being in french, the translation may be inacurrate)

    - I log into the current Microsoft account (No error when I press sign in)

    - Since I already have the new account, I log into the second one (No error)

    - I'm begin asked if I really want to transfer the xbox account from Microsoft account 1 to Microsoft account 2

    - I answer "Yes"

    -> I have an error message saying : identification error, the email or password you provided are incorrect. How can this be the case ? (Remember, I already logged into both accounts).



    Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong ?



    PS: My first Microsoft account has my xbox live account attached, the second one has none attached

    Gamertag overwritten?

    Lets call my WLID "X" and my old gamertag "Y" and my new gamer tag "Z"

    Y was associated with X when i was using my old xbox (the one that died), i got a new xbox and i tried to log in to X.

    since i couldnt, i tried to access X via website, and the moment i did this, X got assigned Z i dont know why, and i cant get Y back.

    thats the problem.

    Hello, to resolve these login issues sometimes you will need to perform a full shutdown. Hold the power button down for 5-10 seconds until it shuts down then unplug it for

    about a minute and plug it back in. You can also check network status under the settings app in networking. Sometimes the service maybe having troubles you can check here Xbox Live Service Status | Xbox Live Service Outage.

    A big fat lie! I was connected to a live agent and the outcome was the rep saying its due to their issue that they’ll resolve asap

    i suggested not showing it’s good to go when we cant even play a brand new system.

    I’m I was happy to get a new system today to replace the scopio edition that they couldnt fix!

    Now i’m back to questioning why i went back to Microsofts system!

    My xbox one x is hardwired and is already connected... its older xbox one that is wireless and cant connect... I would hardwire it but it's set up on other side of my place... other systems and devices connect to new wifi router no problem... its just
