Not getting messages notifications on Xbox after dash update

After new dash update message notifications are not coming to Xbox. The messages are there, however, no alert pops up and the tab reads no new messages. The only way I know something is there is due to windows 10 notification on Surface.

2017 Spring Update Messages arrive delayed and without notification.

After applying the 2017 Spring Update on the Xbox One, messages tend to arrive delayed (sometimes hours) and there's no notification for them.

If I go to the Xbox Guide over the Xbox button, the message icons gets updated with the number of new messages after some seconds, but no notification popup …

 

Preview Program un-enrolling trouble

I too am getting this error. After opting out of the preview program I downloaded 2 updates. On around 350MB and another around 3.5GB. After downloading the update party chat, game invites and messages are not showing up as notifications. So I cannot join
any games when people send an invitation to play. Has anyone found a solution?

 

I have same problem. If I am viewing conversations, I will get an alert of new message; but it's redundant at that point. I have missed several messages because I was playing instead of chatting constantly. All other notifications are working properly. I
might get notification of messages from favorites, but no one else. Conversations in menu also show no unread messages until I go into conversations. Also seems like some messages don't show up for at least an hour.

 

It's a known issue.

The fix is being tested right now in the Insider program so should be released to everyone soon.
