Not getting invites to party's

Im not able to receive any invites to a party on the Xbox app for Windows 10, invite only or public. I've tried reinstalling to pressing the restart button that is in the windows settings. But nothing seems to work. Of course, I can just use the normal Xbox
party, but I have a soundboard on my computer that I like to use in partys. So i would like to not use the normal xbox chat. And anything i do find on the community forms are either the same "reset/renstall xbox app/clear cacha xbox app" Or one that have already
close for being too old. Which doesn't help me or others who have this problem. Have anyone found a solution?

And i will get a notification if someone adds me as a friend, someone online, and even when someones streaming. But not a invite to a party.

Hey shadnater,

I checked back to see if anyone else had included any additional troubleshooting advice. What you've tried and what I've listed are what I know as the troubleshooting steps that have fixed it for players. My recommendation would be to request a chat/call
from Microsoft support so that they can look into the issue with you.

Sorry I couldn't be of more help I don't use the feature too often.

To schedule a chat/call:

Click on: Xbox on Windows 10
Select the green button: Ask a question
Type your issue, and select "No" to any of the suggested troubleshooting steps from the Virtual Assistant if they didn't work for you. If you say "No" too many times you'll get an option to talk to someone.

I would double check that you also have your notifications set to 'On' in your Settings for game and party invites. I have mine usually turned off as I have some friends who like to spam me with invites, so just make sure yours are on so that when the
invite comes through, you see it and can hold the Home button down to join.

She the funny thing is that it showed up saying i got a invite but then it diapered

Hello shadnater,

Have you already tried the following:

Checking your Windows Firewall settings
- If your windows firewall is disabled you will need to enable it in order to use Xbox Live Party chat. To see if its enabled go to Windows Firewall and select "Turn windows firewall on or off" and make sure its turned on.
What security programs are you running?
- The xbox app using Teredo IPsec connection. You will need to be make sure any security programs your running are up to date to avoid them messing up the connection. (IE: AVG, Bit Defender)...
Checking your windows settings
- Enter Services in the Cortana search box on your toolbar > select Services > check the Startup Type and ensure they're set to:
  - IKE and AuthIP IPsec Keying Modules -> Automatic (trigger start)
  - IP Helper -> Automatic
  - Xbox Live Auth Manager -> Manual
  - Xbox Live Networking Service -> Manual
Make sure your running the correct date and time
- If you manually adjust the date/time on your computer, this will inhibit your ability to establish a Teredo IPsec connection.
