    Not Game Pass Code received?!


    I renewed my Xbox Gold when the Free Month of Game Pass promo was going on and I have yet to receive my code. I really want that code because that's what was promised to me. Please help!

    How to control access to your Xbox LIVE account

    It is possible to restrict access to your Xbox LIVE account by using a pass code, or making it necessary to sign into your Xbox profile using your Microsoft account password.

    Set a pass code

    A pass code is a button sequence on your controller, which you can use to restrict access to your Xbox LIVE profile. After you have set the pass code, anyone who wants to sign into Xbox LIVE using your profile must enter the pass code.

    Steps to follow

    1) Under Settings, select Account

    2) Go to Account Security, and then select Pass Code

    3) Enter your four-button code on your controller. You can use the directional pads, the triggers, the bumpers, X and Y.

    4) Re-enter your pass code for confirmation

    The next time you sign in with your Xbox LIVE gamertag, you will be required to enter the pass code.

    If you want to change or reset your pass code, just repeat the above steps. You will be required to enter the old pass code before you can change it.

    No. The Game Pass code that is included in consoles can only be used for new Game Pass accounts. So since you've already had Game Pass, it will not work.

    To be sure, did you renew Gold through the console dashboard promotion screen when you renewed?

    Have you gone through all of your messages from Xbox on the console?

    If you are still not seeing anything it is possible that you did not fully qualify for the promotion.

    You can try reaching out to the chat team to see if they can confirm that your account qualified.

    If it did then we suggest requesting that they activate the service on your account. If they attempt to send you back to the forums be sure to let them know you have posted here and that we have confirmed that they are the ones with the proper tools to look
    into this. We do not have those tools here on the forums.

    Yes I told them about it. They drove me back to the forums. I renewed on my dashboard and all you had to do was renew gold so I don’t see why anyone wouldn’t qualify. That would make no sense. Anyways, they told me I was qualified. They still drove me back
    to the forums. I went through all my messages and still no code. At this point, I’m not very happy. I just want my free month of the game pass. Any help?

  6. We understand the frustration but as stated they will need to provide that content as we do not have the ability to do so.

    Reach back out to them and request a manager to have your situation escalated. That should get you a more direct line to the proper people.
