Not eligible for a refund

My son decided to purchase roblox coins without my consent. Due to the coins not materialising he done this over and over. Microsoft only part refunded the money . However decided to hold back the larger purchase of £99.99. Ive been on telephone ( call back
) regarding failure to explain why on email and asked how do i highlight and open a dispute with microsoft. The person i spoke was rude, had a unfortuate manner and in parrot fashion read out the email . He said he wasnt from refunds and could not help then
hung up. I answered the rejection email only to recieve same rejecting email. So i did refund all over again only to be refused again, again no reason given. Microsoft support is far from supportive, no point with call back and microsoft do not respond to
emails. How do i open a dispute. As far as im Concern you refund some moneys due to same mistake But hold back on the one at £100.00. Given no reason to this, i need this money for my rent. My 11 year old whos autistic made a mistake same day within a short
time scale he managed to clear my back account of £160.00 i didnt notice until days later as i couldnt pay my rent. I need it all refunded not just the smaller amount.

i require either someone from refunds to contact preferable by email for my records and i want to highlight how microsoft support is just an awful experience. I need to be to dispute this but no support is given to do so.

You can't really get a refund because it's in game coins which does not give you the choice to refund.

If he bought a game then it would be a differnt story.

Just recieved email regarding billing escalation from support , stating open case and reference no. Whatever that means. My god they make things very difficult. Guy over phone was a complete unhelpful twat. Any see how it goes.

thanks for the quick response. The 10,000 coins are still available . My son did this over and over due to the fact the coins did not appear immediately therefore he thought this glitch did not go through so decided without my knowledge to do it again and
again. All 10,000 can be returned. See no real reason to decline refund.

Just stick with it, they should be able to work with you to refund that.

I am so sorry this happened. Unfortunately no one here can help. You will need to set up a call back again. This time though explain to them that you would like to be escalated for billing resolution. Do not let them convince you otherwise and make
sure you get a reference number at the beginning of the chat.

Keep at it and hopefully you will get connected to someone who is understanding and can help. Since the customer service reps are human, they are subject to personal life issues, frustrations at work, and might have a different experience level than the
next rep.

Stay calm and politely make your request again and then to back to your console or your Microsoft account and enable two factor authentication for purchases. This way you will be alerted on your phone of any purchase and it will require you to authorize the
purchase before it goes through.

It's a lot tougher managing these accounts and purchases in this era where everything is easily accessible via the Internet. Good luck and hopefully you get connected with the right person so you can have your situation resolved.
