    Not clear when you buy your game pass subscription


    Am I the only one who was/is a little confused when updating the game pass subscription through the store?

    Went to the store and there's a button to purchase a months subscription, which when pressed give you the spinning circle of load/pay/whatever, and then returns to the exact same page.

    No update/change on the page to let you know if you have actually subscribed. No message to say that the purchase was complete.

    (I did get an email about 10 mins later)

    This left me confused and I foolishly did it again.

    Shortly after I did get two emails to let me know I'd subscribed for two months.

    Not a big deal really, it's a rolling subscription thing anyway, right.

    But as Red Dead 2 is coming and I can't imagine playing much else around that time I didn't want a second month.

    Fortunately I got a refund, but along with a "Digital downloads are not refundable...." reminder.

    Who thinks it might be a good idea for the store to reflect your subscription status. Or at least make it clear that the purchase had been completed.

    Do I keep Xbox game pass games

    It won't uninstall the games when you cancel your game pass, but you won't be able to play any of the games you have installed from the game pass subscription, unless you buy them, or get game pass again.

    MET the GAME PASS "GOALS", my SUBSCRIPTION EXPIRES mid-month. If I don't renew, DO I GET THE REWARD?

    Hey there,

    If your Game Pass subscription expires and is not renewed before the end of the promotional period, you will not be eligible for the rewards. As mentioned in the Terms and Conditions, your subscription must be active.

    I believe you can see that through settings and go to subscription it will show how long you have it

    I agree with the idea of being notified that the purchase was successful.. a dialogue box or something would be nice. My best advice, would be to submit a report on your console, to have this looked at for review. Alternatively, you can post in Xbox User
    Voice, but ideas do get lost to the ether, after a while.

    If you download a game through game pass then you will not have the game anymore when the subscription expires. If you purchase a game through the xbox store then you will keep the game even if your game pass subscription expires.

    If you want to buy gold after you cancel your game pass ultimate subscription, you will be allowed to do that, you will also be able to buy game pass as a second subscription, what when you pay for game pass ultimate, Xbox live is included as one of the
    perks. the way you would go about canceling a subscription, is under your account settings in the settings app then going to the subscription tab and modifying your subscription there.
