Not being awarded credits for july

Hi, I made several purchases in July, many of which were in early July, but have not been awarded my rebate for them, either in my account or, as normally would be the case, in "credits pending". The only credits I do have pending are from the month before.

Hi arthur leung. Payback for your qualifying July purchase has been awarded. You can see that on your MyStatement listed as MyVIP Credits. Your August and September purchases went towards your FREEdom Rewards offer. You needed to spend $233 on qualifying
items within that month to complete the offer to be awarded.

was beneath the $30 requirement for FREE Pass. We have identified why you did not get awarded for your September purchase, and will manually adjust that event into your account. You should see those Credits pending shortly.

 

Rebates are calculated after the end of the month and given by the 15th of the next month. So it is still too early to see credits pending for July purchases.

 

I'll just wait until the 15th then. It's just normally (and this is reflected in my history), credits from the previous month show as pending from the beginning of the month until they are deposited around the 15th. Thanks for the help.

 

Once rebates are given, they are shown with the last date of the month they are for. They are never actually given on that date though.

 

Yes, exactly, my pending credits hasn't changed since showing my pending rebate credits for June. The only credits showing as pending are from June's purchases, which I haven't yet received because I haven't hit 5000 yet. By now,
my rebate for the purchases I made in early July should be at least showing as pending, surely? It even says on the rewards page that "it takes 96 hours" for pending rewards to change. The purchases I made in July would put me well over the 5000 needed to
trigger a deposit, so I am sure my pending credits hasn't changed to reflect July's purchases.

 

96 hours is how long it generally takes for the program to recognize changes and new purchases on your account and is usually the standard turn around time for most offers with the exception of VIP rebates. This is straight from the program's FAQ:

When will my MyVIP Rewards Credits be deposited into my Microsoft account?

The total Rewards earned will be calculated at the end of each month. Typically you'll receive your MyVIP earnings in your account by the 15th of the following month, though this is subject to the program's current deposit terms.

Since the program calculates your rebate based on all of the purchases you make each month instead of after each purchase, it takes longer to calculate the rebate. There are still a few days before they can show as pending.
