    Not allowing us to cancel subscriptions online shows Microsoft doesn't respect it's customers

    It was not taken down for technical reasons. By law people in Illinois are still allowed to cancel online. Also, if everyone from blizzard to apple allows me to cancel subscriptions online, the fact that Microsoft can't get that feature to work would be
    more damning than just admitting they are [Removed]

    My phone call to have my subscription cancelled was not 4 minutes. The representative kept trying to sell me other things and got upset when I wouldn't agree to his "deals".

    What's the difference between turning off recurring billing and cancelling subscription?

    Turning off recurring billing will allow you to use your current subscription until it is set to expire. Then it will expire instead of charging you for a new subscription.

    Cancelling a subscription immediately cancels the subscription.

    This will allow you to see your subscriptions. Once you see the subscription you would like to cancel, navigate to Mange. This will allow you to see the payment settings and will allow you to edit or cancel the subscription.

    and it's never-ending... they say they can't cancel it as they do not have the option to cancel it and need to contact the subscription provider. you say they need to cancel, but Microsoft is taking money from the account.
