Not able to use mic while recording clips / videos

Hi there!

As far as I know, there's no way to record Mic audio from clips while recording on Xbox.

I guess you can try streaming the game to your windows PC and record from there while also recording your mic.

If it's included in the game then it should be okay to use it as part of your gaming activity. Example:

Forza Motorsports 7 or Horizon 4 etc have a camera mode...use that to compose and take a picture. Now view that picture and use Xbox Guide Take a Screenshot so that you can save it to your activity feed, Twitter or OneDrive.

You might be able to do something similar with a video recording mode...watch the video afterwards & then use Record that to clip the video. Make sure you are aware of the length limitations (eg any video clip you make should be equal to or shorter than the setting of your Record That clips).

Do any of you with audio issues use third party Mics?

I have been noticing while my headset is plugged in i get no sounds on recordings. But when headset is not plugged in the audio is in the clip

Yeah recording at 720p works just fine but I’m trying to save clips at 1080p for videos but before I was able too record at 1080p normally.
