Not able to sign into Xbox Cloud Gaming on iPad

It is possible that it is caused by an outdated version of the app, iOS version or caused by outage of Xbox Live status server. Let us perform some troubleshooting steps to help resolve the issue.

Here are some steps you can try to resolve the issue:

1. Make sure that your iPad is running the latest version of iOS and that the Xbox Game Pass app is up to date.

2. Clear the cache and cookies on your iPad. To do this, go to Settings > Safari > Clear History and Website Data.

3. Try signing in using a different browser on your iPad, such as Chrome or Firefox.

4. Restart your iPad and try signing in again.

5. If none of the above steps work, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the Xbox Game Pass app on your iPad.



Note: To play cloud gaming on compatible devices, it requires Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription.

I do not use an XBox. The game is accessed via Cloud Gaming from an Apple iPad.

I don't have a mobile network, only my home wifi network. The app works just fine on my laptop when signed in. All features open when signed in. The app works fine on my ipad in "guest" mode. I played a game in guest mode, then signed in, and the app failed to open the next game. Obviously, it has something to do with signing in on my ipad, since the app works fine in guest mode. I have updated my ipad and the app. If I could get out of the black screen in the app without having to shut down my ipad, I would be able to trouble shoot better. Having to shut the ipad down each time to reset the app is a real bother. What is even more perplexing is that the app worked fine on 4/25. Having changed nothing on my ipad, on 4/26 it wouldn't work.

Tested via the created Xbox Xcloud Icon from Safari and also via google chrome browser. :/

Please, try to sign out from your account and recreate the Xcloud icon from Safari and try it again, please.
