Not able to share digital content from home unit to another Xbox

I have just bought a third Xbox One for our home. We are not able to share the games as we have done with our second system. We have designated one of the boxes as the home unit and have made sure the accounts all are set for that as their home. It works
as it supposed with our second unit but, with the third box we seem to get the "does this game belong to you warning" on every game that was originally bought on the home unit. Here is the strange thing we purchased "Ori" directly on the third unit and it
works without a hitch and it also works on the home unit but, any content bought through the home unit does not work without the main account signing into the third box. This of course defeats the purpose of having the kids away from the living room. This
happens no matter if anyone is on the other system or not. What can we do?

    :)

They should work more on the features for Xbox One

The One shares a Gold Sub between alll users and with a Home Console you can have another "slave" console that shares all digital content fully.

Xbox examining alternative methods to Game Sharing

You Xbox Live Account allows you to play games on any Xbox connected to the Network. If your Xbox is set to home and you log in on another Xbox you can play your digital content on that Xbox. Friends have been game sharing by cross setting their Xbox. I log in on your machine and set it to my home, and you login on my machine set it to home. Now we both have access to whatever content exist on both Xbox's.

That is how it's supposed to work. The Home setting will allow all profiles to access content on that console. In order to use the content on any other console, the account that purchased the content has to be signed in.

Incorrect. According to Microsoft's own website setting example the way it supposed to work is as I described it should. It does work as expected with my other unit does but not with my most recent purchased Xbox One. There should be no need for the
otherbox to have the owner logged in to that box if the home box is set to the box of the downloaded content.

See example as described by Microsoft: support.xbox.com/.../my-home-xbox

Note:: to support staff, the third box was a refurbished box (bought through Groupon deal). Could that be an issue?

Sorry, but I don't see anywhere on there that lists that the Home setting should work as you are trying. The Home setting is the One's version of the license transfer tool. When you purchase content it is tied to the console that it was purchased on (or
in this case the console that is set as the Home console) as well as the account that purchased it. It order for other profiles to use the content they have to use the console that has the licenses.

    Smwutches is correct.

The page you linked to says that the HOME console doesn't need the account that purchased the content to be signed in which is correct.

However the other two consoles in your home that aren't the HOME console need the account that bought the content to be signed in to play the games. This is to stop sharing across households and friends.

Sharing with family was initially planned but the Internet complained about the Internet requirement so Microsoft pulled the feature before the console launched.

Not able to share digital content from home unit to another Xbox

I guess nobody read my original message. It works the way I expect it to with my second box attached to the home. I do not have to be logged in for the my son to play the games that I purchased with my account. He plays FIFA and Sunset Overdrive all
the time on the second (non-home) device without logging me in. The third box is not working this way.

If this is the case that the second box is the anomaly and the third box is working as they designed it Microsoft better find a way to appease users that by digital. I shouldn't have to login, it should just verify the ownership is valid the same way it
does with the home unit. What is the point of buying digital if I am forced to login into every attached home unit and thus not allowing me to use the system while they play the games. I might as well by discs or use one of the two PS4s we have both have
better options for sharing and use of digital content. Digital on the Microsoft is becoming a waste. It is bad enough we can't do anything positive with digital (oh boy no disc needed that is such a bonus, said sarcastically)
