Not Able to Reinstall

Hi, I bought Astroneer about a year ago on my Xbox and recently built a computer and started playing it on that. And then an update came out last week, then for some reason it wasn't showing up for me so I uninstalled it to then reinstall with hopes of it
including the update. but now it is saying i own it but the install is blurred out. Please help, Thanks Finn

BTW I love the game and don't want to stop playing or have to buy it on steam

Hi @XBF Brad A how do I fully uninstall it? because I'm pretty sure I already have because I've searched like all the files multiple times and haven't even found a folder from the game.

Sorry to hear there is an issue with installing and launching your game.

Try checking out this link to "Repair" a game on windows 10.

If the issue continues, then I suggest you to run the app
troubleshooter:

Press Windows Key+X.
Click Control Panel.
Select Troubleshooting.
On the left pane, click on
View All.
Click on
Windows Store app
to run the troubleshooter and follow the on-screen instructions.

Also, please try: to perform a clean
boot, this helps eliminate software conflicts that occur when you install a program or an update or when you run a program in Windows 10.

Hello Finn,

Sorry for the issue with the game. We recommend to first fully uninstall it from the PC. Then log into the Xbox app, go to your library on the app and install it from there.

There is currently a known issue with Sea of Thieves and Game Pass. It's something that is being worked on, so you won't be able to reinstall it until that is fixed.
