    Not able to receive Minecraft invites on Windows 10 Xbox One app.


    I recently purchased the Minecraft Windows 10 Beta and am attempting to play with a couple friends. They are already in their own game and they sent me invites to join them, however, I never received any invites through the Xbox App on Windows, my phone,
    or my Xbox One itself.

    I did check my privacy settings and receiving invites is open to "Everyone". I also checked the network settings and it says NAT is open and that I'm 100% connected.

    I am also able to send them invites and they get them no problem, but I'm not receiving anything from them except messages.

    Any ideas on how to resolve this issue would be appreciated.

    Minecraft Cross-Play?

    Hey, so I am on PC, using Minecraft Windows 10 Edition. I have the creators update for Windows 10.

    I want to play Minecraft with my pals on Xbox.

    I can't seem to find any invites on the Xbox App anywhere from them, yet I am in their party.

    They also are unable to join any invites I give them, yet they receive invites.

    I do NOT have a gold membership.

    Does Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition support 'PC >> Xbox One' cross platform play?

    If not, will it ever, and if yes, then when?

    I have a host Xbox One running minecraft on multiplayer, and I'm sending invites to my windows ten PC that has the Windows 10 Edition of minecraft installed, but the invites never show up on the pc in-game, or in the Xbox app. If I do the reverse and try
    to send invites from the Windows 10 Edition to the Xbox Edition, the Xbox opens up the windows 10 store page for Minecraft and prompts to purchase. Suggestions?

    Xbox app club invites

    Hi there!

    As long as you have an Xbox profile, you should be able to use the club features available on Xbox Live without needing an actual console for it to work.

    Does this happen with any club invitation that you receive? Are there any issues with requesting an invite and then joining other clubs?

    Do you have Xbox Live Gold? Do you have a Windows 10 PC by any chance to try on the Xbox app for Windows 10?

    Minecraft for Windows 10 through the Microsoft Store is not labeled as Xbox edition, which is the console only version of Minecraft that is no longer updated. The current version of Minecraft on the Xbox One is just titled "Minecraft" while on Windows it
    is labeled as Minecraft for Windows 10. Just to clear up any confusion.

    Does it show a player is offline in-game when trying to invite friends on the menu inside Minecraft? Or do they show offline through the Xbox App or Xbox Console Companion app? Press Win key + G to open the game bar and then open the Social overlay and check
    if they show online there.

    Hey there! You're going to need to verify which version of Minecraft you have. There are two on the Xbox One that you could have.

    Minecraft: Xbox One Edition is no longer supported. It's playable, but it can't be found in the Store and does not receive updates. This version of the game does not have Realms access.

    Minecraft/Minecraft: Windows 10 Edition/Minecraft: Bedrock Edition (All just different names for the same game) is the version with Realms that are cross-compatible.

    Java version (only available on PC) is not compatible with Xbox.

    If your child's friend has the Realm set up on the correct version of Minecraft, you just need a Gold Subscription. Realm hosts pay the monthly fee to keep the Realm online. The friend will need to invite your friend/add them as a Realm member from their
    Xbox or PC, then your child will receive a little envelope thing on their Minecraft menu. That is the Realm invitation. Once that's accepted, they should be able to join the Realm.

    Can you check and see if you're able to send messages via Xbox.com or by using the Xbox App (Windows 10, iOS, or Android). Also, can you provide the error code that you receive when you attempt to send messages or party invites please.

    Can I use my Microsoft account to install Minecraft on my PC?

    If you have Minecraft Bedrock Edition for Xbox One, then you would be able to use that to install Minecraft from the Windows 10 store and play yes. Is that what you're asking for? Should be able to get it from the Windows 10 store and searching for Minecraft.
