Not able to play FIFA 22 with my friend

Hi, can you confirm that is this available on FIFA 23? If I buy FIFA 23 then will I be able to play with my friend on PC?

That is me on Xbox Series S and my friend is on PC, will this work?

Hello Aman, sorry to hear you're having trouble with connecting to your friend.

Although crossplay is available for players from the Series X/S to PS5 I'm afraid that does not include playing with people on PC or older Xbox consoles. For FIFA 22 you're pretty much limited to the same generation consoles.

I have also seen some articles from 3rd party websites saying that it's not possible to cross-play between Xbox and PC.

Hi Rostom, thanks for this but I have already tried this, I have enabled the crossplay on my Xbox Series S but I am not able to find my friend in the search tab.

I searched with the Gamertag, EA ID and whatnot but still have no luck.

Also, what do you mean by the line "Highlight any name on the list"? Can I click on any name that appears or do I have to search for the specific name?

Please note that my friend is on PC and I am on Xbox Series S, let me know if there is anything else that I can try.
