Not able to change privacy settings

Hi, I recently got gifted Forza horizon 4 on pc from my friend and it was going well until I somehow figured out that I cant play online till I change my privacy settings from xbox.com but when I go to the website I cant change the privacy settings and
I was continously prompted to this link [https://support.microsoft.com/en-in...ge-childs-xbox-privacy-online-safety-settings] and it told me that an adult would be needed to solve the problem but it didnt work. Please help..

Hi nkTJH!

I'm sorry that your experiencing this problem. Sadly, Hassassinade is right. There isn't a way to change the birthdate on the child account once its created. If your having a problem trying to change the privacy and online safety settings on the Xbox One,
try and go throught Xbox.com. When you sign into the parent account, you can go to "My Account" and access your privacy and online safety settings for both the parent and the child account. If that doesn't work then your best bet is to try and contact support
to see if there is additional troubleshooting they can do.

Nope. You won't be able to promote your account from a child to an adult until you hit 18+ on that account. There's no way to change the date of birth on the account, unfortunately.

Set up a family. When you add your account to a family with a parent account, the parent can then go in and

change settings on the child account. There are bugs as I have an adult account with settings all set right and I still get errors within the game.

Forza forums have known issues posted and others with similar issues.

Please try the following:

Sign into Xbox Live. You must be online and signed in to make changes.
You’re signed in to the console using an adult account. Children and teens are restricted from
making changes to their
own privacy and online safety settings.

If you receive an error message when you try to change your privacy settings, search for the error using the
Error Code Lookup Tool.

I'm also on a child account, I messed up with the birth date when I created it but I own the parent account to it and can change the privacy settings from there. Is it possible for Microsoft to promote my account to an adult account without waiting 10 years
for it to be 18?
