    Not a single game I own that i have installed on Xbox App on PC will launch


    I have tried everything online and yet i still cant get a single game to launch on the Xbox App even the one with EA play wont work. Support has done nothing to help at all but tell me the same thing over and over. I'm paying for a service that will not work at all.

    Games won't launch on Xbox Beta

    i have a similar issue.

    EVERY game i install on the game pass pc beta that is NOT exclusively single-player will not launch.

    all i get is a message saying that this app cannot open.

    kinda frustrating.

    i know it is a beta but this is since day 1.

    Thank you. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Xbox App and Windows Store. I did a repair and reset of both apps while signed out. I did the Power Shell reset of the Windows Store.

    I checked all updates were installed on my PC.

    I also discovered that I cannot play a game that I own. Same error as the game pass games. So it looks like Forza 7 (own) and my Game Pass Games will not launch on PC.

    Hi,

    EA games have to be launched directly via the EA in order to play them. If you launch them on the Xbox App, the EA app will need to run as well to launch the game. This is standard practice with PC launchers.

    For example I own Mass Effect purchased via Steam. But, even if I launch it with Steam, it still loads the EA app. In which case I just launch it from the EA app instead.

    yea I know. When I start a Ubisoft game via steam, the Ubisoft launcher starts. It does not start automatically the moment I start steam.

    However, for the XBOX app the EA launcher will start as soon as I start the xbox app, not once I start an EA game.

    Right now I don't even have an EA game installed (not via xbox, not outside of it). The EA app only starts if I open the XBOX app.
