    Not a normal sign in error


    So I installed Forza Horizon 4 from the Xbox (Beta) App on my PC and after launching it, it says sign in to start game. I tried to sign in from the game but the gaming account sign in page showed up for less than half a second, like it blinked three times
    and then it says cant sign in. The same thing happened when I tried to sign in from Xbox (Beta) App. It's happening since I reinstalled it. I also clicked on setting and then on the edit
    option that too doesn't respond. What to do?

    Do you get any error or message? Are you able to sign in normally at xbox.com?

    Are you able to sign in at the xbox.com website normally? Do you get any error code when you sign in with your console?

    Trying to claim unused Gamertag but says taken. (Support suggested making thread)

    Can anyone confirm that that is in fact the reason and not an error in the system? It took the normal path of being released from normal profile, to randomly generated name, to nothing. All signs point to released profile.

    Hey Fred, what happens when the parent email tries signing in exactly? What error message(s) come up? Also, can the parent account sign into Xbox.com normally?
