Good Day. First of all: My Windows-11-PC has the latest Updates, the "Xbox-Accessories-App" is up-to-date and the 2 Controllers have received the latest Firmware-Update. Regardless of whether wireless or with a Cable, the Controller and Inputs are recognized in the "Xbox-Accessories-App" correctly. In games, however, it only works via Cable. It is also noticeable that the Controller wireless is recognized as "XINPUT compatible HID" and not as "Xbox Controller" as is the Case with Cables. I use the official "Microsoft Wireless-Adapter for Windows 10" as the Wireless-Adapter. To be sure i tested this with another completely new installed Laptop - to my regret with the same results.

    :)

    Hello,

Do you have an update on a patch/release? I'm still experiencing the same issue. My Xbox wireless headset also doesn't connect. Super disappointed.

it can't be down to the updates as mine and my sons still work fine on 3 different pc's with win 11. i would unplu the wireless adapter and restart the pc then plug the adapter into a different port to re install the driver.

There has just been an Xbox update that also includes a firmware update for controllers, this is what has been updated:

"These controllers now support Bluetooth Low Energy which delivers better compatibility across devices and allows for better pairing experiences. You’ll be able to play wirelessly on Windows 10 & 11 PCs, iOS 15+, and Android devices with Bluetooth LE for Xbox remote play from your console or cloud gaming with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on the go."

my series controller is picked up as the same via the wireless adapter, but mine still fully works in all games, even the share button works fine with gamebar too.
