No way to see new releases on Xbox Marketplace

Thanks Draz, I did notice that but you have to back track to get the marketplace home so you can see the new releases...seems silly not to just to have a Marketplace home Tab?

I guess I could bookmark it.

New retail games are released on disc first, and you have to buy them from your local games store. After a few months these games are then released on the Xbox marketplace, but it will be cheaper to buy the disc from the store. Arcade games are released
usually every Wednesday (Sometimes on a Friday) and are bought from the Xbox marketplace on the Xbox 360. Hope this answers your question.

However, Microsoft only releases new items to the Marketplace on Wednesdays.

So, check back on the Marketplace every Wednesday for the rest of this month, leading into the first week of October.

(That is only four Wednesdays.)

The reason I think that black ops 2 will not be on Xbox Live Marketplace until a year after release is because it's always been that way for retail games. They don't release retail games onto the Xbox marketplace until 6 months or a year depending on how
well the game is sold. If you go by previous call of duty's then this game will not be on the games on demand section of Xbox Live marketplace until November of next year.

Sorry, Major, but it appears that all of the Madden NFL team themes & gamer picture packs have been delisted from the Xbox Marketplace. Hopefully you'll see new ones added next year with the release of Madden NFL 14.
