    No Valid Payment Option Error


    Hi guys,

    I'd greatly appreciate help with this issue. I'm trying to purchase the first Red Dead Redemption on my Xbox One. I'm getting an issue that says "You have no valid payment options on file. Microsoft Account Balances cannot be used in this purchase channel."
    My payment option should be the credit card I have on file. I don't understand why it's using a balance and how to make this work?

    Hiya!

    I would double check your payment options that you have on file not only with the Microsoft account but also on you XBOX One itself just to make sure something didn't mistakenly change.. ;)

    It usually says that with 360 games if you have a card on your account it will automatically use that check the payment details as well :)

    PAYMENT OPTION NOT VALID!?

    I believe that the system will not accept DEBIT cards. You need to use a CREDIT card, or you can

    1. Go to a local game store or electronics store and purchase a subscription card with a code. You can use your debit card to pay for it there.

    2. If you have the new update and have a paypal account, you can use paypal to make your payment.
