For example, try sharing mobile data via wifi hotspot and connect your console in that way

Download and upload speeds are the most important. If you think you are going to have an enjoable esperience online with 1.6 download and .40 upload (my guess is he is around 0.40 upload) then you are very very wrong. lol Yes ping is
fairly imporant but nowhere near as important as the download and upload speed. 1.6 download is not good AT ALL.
