No updates available (omega) for a whole month

That is actually not a bad idea. Staying in the Omega ring has very low risk. But in case something does go wrong, one can still revert the firmware update if it was still an omega version. And then block firmware updates until a fix is available.

The main issue with this broken firmware release is that there is no way to roll back to an older firmware version.

If you are part of the Insiders preview program, consider going to a ring which has less frequent updates, like Delta or Omega.

Alternatively you can unenroll from the program, so you only get GA (General Availability) updates when they are released.

The problem choice you choose on the Support link might not give you access to Request a Call or Live Chat, and in this case, try selecting other problems ( even if does not match the issue you are facing ) because what is important here is for you to contact Support. -If you're not, you can set the console to instant-on mode. quick start and update without you having to worry about.

-If you're Insider, manage your console ring to a lower one (delta or omega), less updates.

-you can also manually request the console to update if it is available. This would avoid an unexpected update during playtime.

I've been searching trying to find stats on Omega but haven't had any luck. From what other have been saying on other boards beating him is one thing, capturing is another. Judging from some of the streams I've been watching it looks like one will have to
do a whole lot of grinding to even come close to a 5 star result. People have said it takes 2-5 battles to capture this beast. I didn't order from Amazon so I'll wait until it is available on the marketplace.



I'm not so thrilled with the looks. My favorite Omega battle has always been FFVIII and FFX which had the best Omega Weapon looks IMO. I've never had the enjoyment in defeating Omega as much as in those 2 game. Yiazmat in FFXII follows. Thinking outside
the box, what if Omega supported all Paradigm roles or is the only boss/monster in the game that carries the Ultima spell which should have been brought back.
