    Hi folks,

    I hope everybody is doing fine ? No Support for Hyperkin Duke Wired Controller which was bought in the official Microsoft /... :)

    I bought a Hyperkin Duke Wired (green) controller on my german Xbox on Sept. the 23rd. 2019. Now its left stick is faulty (stickdrift). Nobody neither Xbox or Microsoft Store support feels responsible having my controller fixed. They can only service original
    Xbox Controller. I know its a third party controller. But I bought it on my Xbox in the store.

    So after 3 or 5 Mails with xbox costumer support we do not have a plan. There is no way for me as a German costumer to get my faulty Hyperkin controller fixed within the 1 year guarantee or the 2 year warranty which is the german law.

    I also emailed Hyperkin, but apparently they dont communicate with privat costumers.

    So my question:

    How can Xbox or the Microsoft Store sell products which they cant service after they´re sold ?.

    How can it be that a company like Microsoft offers 3rd party controllers or products in their official store and don´t offer service or any kind of help afterwards ?. I mean the law is clear Microsoft Store is my official contractual partner and they are
    the only ones who are actually responsible for getting my controller fixed.

    status quo = broke controller and nobody fixes my controller although its in full guarantee!

    In 2020 thats a sad chapter No Support for Hyperkin Duke Wired Controller which was bought in the official Microsoft /... :(.

    Hyperkin Duke controller ( one button doesn't work)

    The Clue is in the name. Hyperkin make the Duke controller. As far as I'm aware it's an official licensed product. If the controller is faulty, you'll need to contact the manufacturer, which in this
    case would be Hyperkin.

    Hyperkin are a U.S based company, more well known for their Retron clone consoles than their controllers.

    Why don't MS Xbox produce a simple wired controller?

    They used to make wired controllers for the 360. Also look into what Hyperkin makes!! I did just buy a wired Hyperkin controller ..... its modeled after the OG Xbox controller “The Duke”!!

    In Germany it works that way. Just imagine buying a BMW at a US dealership and if you do have problems with your car, the car seller would say "hey if you have problems with the product i just sold you please contact BMW in Munich Germany and please learn
    German then otherwise they cant give you support.

    Its about the princible. You cant sell stuff and dont offer any kind of support. Just imagine I couldnt speak english what would I do ? They sell stuff in their Store and do not offer support in german.

    I hope you do get my point now, and I even think its kind of illegal by german laws at least.
