No subtitles during live pause playback

    No subtitles during live pause playback


    Hey guys

    First noticed this problem after latest dashboard update. I frequently watch live tv with subtitles enabled which works perfectly. However before the update I could pause playback and when replaying subtitles would work. After update I pause, and the subtitles
    don't show on playback. contacted customer support who couldn't help. Has anyone got the same issue?

    Xbox One Media Remote - Pop-up/ Start Menu buttons do not work during Blu-Ray playback

    OMGOSH you guys!

    I made a little progress. Ok, so the share and option buttons don't do a dang thing on the media remote during playback. (Please fix this Microsoft)

    But! If you press the pause/play button you will see the play, fast, back menu pop up on screen.

    To the far right you will see three white fullstops/periods "..."

    Navigate with the media remotes buttons to this ... icon and click it with the middle button on the remote.

    THIS, brings up a menu which shows menu, subtitles on/off, subtitles, pop-up menu and more!

    It's not ideal, but it's at least something to make the remote a little more useful.

    Xbox Interface performance hit when using "Instant On"

    i tried turning off instant on, doing a full shutdown, but the hitching in video apps remains. I thought i had tried this before but hadn't with some of the newer releases. Video playback still "pauses" or hitches frequently during motion. No subtitles during live pause playback :(

    I am very interested in this because subtitle/closed caption support is critical to my usage. I am currently evaluating moving to XBOX One + PVR from a MythTV + Kodi setup.

    How to turn off Netflix subtitles?

    Have you tried pausing the show then pressing down on the D pad and selecting OFF for subtitles?
