    No sound on Movie Trailers in Xbox Store on my Laptop


    I can not hear sound when the movie trailers play on my laptop. This was happening on my Xbox too but there is a fix for it in the community but not for my laptop. When I select the three buttons and go to settings there is not selection for automatically playing sound on my laptop. Any help ?

    Movie trailers gone?!?!

    I think what people are interested in are the trailers for upcoming movies... not movies you can buy or rent in the store. I for one loved having the movie trailer section. It was very easy to just jump on Xbox Live and watch trailers for future movies that
    I may or may not have known about. I didn't have to go sit in front of a computer looking for the best quality version and watch it on a small screen with crappy speakers, not I could sit in front of my TV with surround sound with all these awesome trailers
    and just kill some time. Wish they would bring it back

    I am located in Australia (aka Australasia)

    Movie titles are as follows.

    The Water Diviner -- Trailer 2.0 Movie 2.0

    Stonehearst Asylum - Trailer 5.1 Movie 2.0

    Horns -- Trailer 5.1 Movie 2.0

    Hector And the Search for Happiness -- Trailer 5.1 Movie 2.0

    Good People -- Trailer 5.1Movie 2.0

    Lets Be Cops -- Trailer 5.1 Movie 2.0

    I could sit here and run a list of pretty much every movie made available for rent in the last 6 to 12 months, you can easily tell by the download size, 1080P movies in 5.1 Surround sound are about 9 - 12 GigaBytes, 1080P movies without surround sound (2.0
    Stereo) are around 4-6GB.

    This issue has been raised previously on these forums, a solution had been promised, but it is evident that the issue has been ignored. Please do not let this request for correcting this issue fall of deaf ears again.

    According to the following link, the audio should be in English, so if you have already checked the settings and nothing changes, it must be a problem with the movie. Have you tried watching it on another device, because I just saw the trailer on the page and it sounds good?

    So I would recommend trying to watch the movie on another device, such as a phone or laptop, and check if the problem persists or changes.

    If you're talking about the Movie Trailers on the Xbox, they haven't gone.

    Go to the Tv & Movies tab, select Xbox Video. Once loaded, go to the Movies tab, and you'll find movie trailers there.
