NO SOUND AFTER BETA UPDATE

I joined the Xbox Insider beta update program and received the beta update and now there's no sound whatsoever. Is there a way to go back to the public build or is my console just broken until the next update? I already reset my console twice now and I've also tried all of the troubleshooting options listed.

Hi, I hope you're doing great out there despite the issue that you're experiencing. I am an Independent advisor and I am here to help you in regards to your concern.

For Xbox Insiders, you can report this problem in that way the Xbox Insider Team will be able to check it as well as deploy a fix for you. To do so, kindly follow the steps below:

1. Press and hold the Xbox button.

2. On the What do you want to do? screen, choose Report a problem. This will open the Report a Problem app.

3. Select Report new problem.

4. On the New problem report screen, give your problem a descriptive title.

Also, you can try and check if your setting is correct. Here you go:

1. Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.

2. Select Profile & system > Settings > General > TV & display options.

3. Select Video fidelity & overscan.

4. Under Display, select HDMI.

No update on when this surround sound won't be in beta? My Dish Hopper doesn't seem to like this beta surround sound

Sounds like it's very possible there is an issue with the Beta iOS update then since it happened after the update, if you're unable to roll back it's best to keep checking for iOS updates in the meantime to see if it fixes the problem. If you're still seeing
the issue after the update is final and released to the public, be sure to let us know!

The subject about not able to update controller, has already been posted. An when to March update comes out, March 4, before the release of Titanfall, will fix the problem. This info is from beta users, about fixing the problem, they said the sound is great
to the headset, after updating controller.

I went through a lot of possible solutions with a very nice, able and willing community ambassador but none of the solutions worked. I found the solution afterwards when I discovered that my PS3 and Xbox360 were also silent, I had only checked my SCART connected
satellite receiver before and not any other HDMI devices; only HDMI devices were silent. Something in the update must have messed up my tv; I unplugged the tv, waited a bit, plugged it back in and the sound worked.
