    No Skype notification for calls


    Hello !

    all my setting are set " active " for Skype notifications but still no notifications CALLS when im outside Skype app ( for example during a game or in the dashboard Home ). I see only message notifications but no calls. I can only see calls notification
    inside Skype app. Skype settings are also set to " yes " for all notifications...

    im inrolled on beta.

    Skype doesn't work often

    I am having issues with Skype. Sometimes my calls aren't received by friends, sometimes I can't answer their calls, and sometimes I get several notifications for a single Skype call. Generally when I get several notification from a single Skype call, I
    can't answer the call. I'll select either Answer or Answer without video, and it'll take me to Skype, but it won't connect the call.

    Hey Psycho!

    It sounds like it might be an issue with the Beta system update you're using. Post your problem in the Xbox One Preview forums and someone should be able to help you out!

    G'day Penguin! Let's get this Skype stuff sorted out. =)

    First off, Skype is not currently able to snap into the right column. You can snap other apps while talking on Skype though.

    As for the notifications, let's make sure everything is enabled in your console's settings. From the Settings menu, select Preferences, and add a check mark to the Show Skype notifications option.

    Are your call notifications not coming through at all, or have you only noticed this behavior in a particular app or game?

    Not Getting Skype Notifications

    I'm terribly sorry your having this issue as I WILL do my best to address it!

    First: Skype Should be enabled in the Skype App & the Dashboard, to do that please follow the directions below!

    Skype App:

    1. First, Open the Skype Application.

    2. Then press the Menu Button (The menu button has the large 'X' on it, not the blue one)

    3. Select Settings, & then press the 'A' Button.

    4. You should then select 'Notifications' - and make sure "Show All Notifications" is checked.

    Dashboard:

    1. Open the settings menu

    2. Select Preferences, & then click 'A'

    3. Make sure that "Show Skype Notifications" is checked

    Please then Note that the presence for you & the person you want to Call, Message, & receive notifications from is set to "Available"

    So (just so we're clear), you're saying that you have notifications for Skype in the Notifications app, but that you didn't see a toast for them when they arrived? And you weren't running Skype at the time the messages arrived?

    It's possible indirectly: If you sign in with multiple Microsoft accounts to your XB1 you will get notifications for chats and calls to come in on all of these. So by switching Microsoft accounts on your Xbox you can switch between their Skype accoutns at
