No rumble with new Model 1914 Xbox Controller in Xbox Cloud Gaming (Edge).

I recently bought a new Xbox Controller, the Model 1914 (comes with the new consoles). I bought the one that came with a 9 ft USB C cable. I downloaded the Xbox Accessories app, plugged my controller in, and let Windows do it's thing with the drivers. Then, I downloaded and installed the latest firmware update for the controller. After the update was installed, I launched Edge, and logged in to Xbox Cloud Gaming. Opened Psychonauts 2, and everything seemed to be ok with the controller. Great wired response, vibration was strong. After playing for a little while, I exited the game. I left my PC for a bit, enough for it to go into a power mode were the display cuts off after a while. When I got back into a different game, I noticed that the vibration was no longer working. This lead me down a path of trying multiple games, with the result being that vibration was not present. In between closing the browser, restarting the PC, and checking for updates, logging back in, launching a game; no vibration.

I've tested the vibration in the Xbox Accessories app, and it works.

When I test it at https://gamepad-tester.com/, the vibration function works there as well. In both Edge and Chrome. I even disabled my Advance Threat Protection in my AV product, temporarily. No change. I've tried this over Bluetooth as well. Still no vibration from Xbox Cloud Gaming. Windows is up-to-date, along with my Bluetooth and OEM stuff.

Controller type and firmware version: Xbox Wireless Controller, m1142084-007 ("Model 14"). FW vers: 5.7.2688.0

Windows 10 Home, version 21H1. Build 19043.1202

Edge Version 93.0.961.38 (Official build) (64-bit)

Has any encountered this? And if you have, were you able to fix it? If so, what was the fix action?

Thank you; the suggestion worked. However, I also installed the Xbox Insider app, and joined the Xbox insider program. I then launched my Xbox app, and was able to enjoy Cloud Gaming, with vibration support.

Vibration in Xbox Cloud gaming via a browser however, still does not work.

It appears that this function has been implemented recently and may have bugs. On Reddit's official support page they haven't even updated and say xCloud doesn't support rumble yet.

Try running cloud games using the Xbox app on your Windows, you might have more success there.

And make sure your console already has the last September update.

This does not work for the 1914 Xbox Controller. This only works for controllers before the 1914 model. There needs to be an option that works for the 1914 model controller.

May I know if this is happening only with fortnite when you use this controller? Or is with all your games?

The controller firmware is up to date and everything?

That's the latest model, also known as 1914, try double checking this in the little label that appears as soon as you open the lid, I have three Xbox Controllers including the 20th anniversary controller and is the same 1914.
