    No picture when streaming from Xbox One X to PC using companion app


    I have been attempting to fix this problem for a few hours to no avail. As the title says, I cannot get a picture to stream from my xbox one x to my pc. I can get the data connection established, as a wired controller connected to the PC will control the
    xbox, but I cannot get a video signal at all. I have tried reinstalling the xbox companion app, enabling, disabling, then re-enabling the xbox share/remote play options from the Devices & Connections settings in the Xbox menu, I have tried forgetting and reestablishing
    the connection from the PC, and I have tried factory resetting my xbox. Nothing works. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi Alfrddd

    Streaming on the console companion on PC is not supported on the Xbox series consoles. Only Xbox One.

    The only platform that you can currently stream from is iOS and Android, using the Xbox app.

    the double audio im hearing is coming from the companion app on my pc that im using to stream from my xbox. its not from streamlabs. im getting the audio from my xbox and my pc via the companion app. but im using the companion app to use party chat to
    talk. so i cannot mute it because it then mutes the party chat audio and im not able to hear my party.

    Which App is trying to connect, through the Xbox App or app companion, to Streaming the ideal is to do by the Xbox Companion App.

    they are stopping the xbox companion from streaming they have already stopped it in the companion app and moved it fully to xbox app on pc and i suspect windows 10 version too.

    You can stream from your Xbox One console to your PC using the Xbox One companion app. You can then use Screen capture software like OBS or Stream Labs to then stream to any of the streaming sites or all three if you wish. There is even a service called
    Restream.io which will bring the chat together from all three streaming sites (Twitch, mixer, youtube).
