    No Party sound and microfon in streaming to windows


    Hey guys,

    since the last update of the XBOX App for Windows i´ve got a problem with the party mode on my xbox.

    Everything works fine, if i just play normally on the xbox, without streaming to pc. I can talk to friends and they can hear me normally.

    But when i start the streaming to Windows the party gets muted, and nobody can hear me, or i can hear them.

    When i shutdown the stream, everything is fine again?!

    Whats wrong with the app?

    Xbox app no sound

    I have been streaming games from my Xbox one to my windows 10 laptop I have never had any problems until today the first problem was the party chat had stopped working (the sound was not coming through from the other people in the party) then
    after rebooting the app there was no sound coming from the stream. Can you help me?

    [Bug and Solution] Xbox app freeze on streaming from Xbox One

    After fresh install of Windows 10, I logged in and run Xbox app. Tried to start streaming from my Xbox One but every time Xbox app freeze. I heard sound from Xbox One, but no picture and no response from Xbox app. Finally I found the issue, Xbox app doesn't
    request for Mic permission when you start streaming for the first time. To fix it I created Party and immediately get request to Mic. After that streaming starts to work perfectly.

    To Microsoft: please fix it.

    Stream xbox using chromebook (Linux)

    It really wont work on any operating system other than windows 10. The windows 10 app is the only legitimate way to stream your xbox to play on the move. Personally i use a macbook with windows 10 bootcamped on it, native support for the controller is good,
    as is the ability to use game sound/ party chat through the macbook

    I'm having the exact same issue. I have the logitech G930s too. While using the xbox app for just party use you won't be able to hear others and they can't hear you. The headset works correctly with game sounds while streaming to xbox one back to PC but
    still won't work in the parties. The issue is that the headset will just not work at all with any type of xbox party function... While streaming xbox one to PC or while just using the party system in the xbox application for windows 10. (Microphone and earphones
    will not work in party chat as said... while the ability to create, leave, and join the party actually work.)

    Microsoft Store and Steam Deck

    That’s not possible except for Cloud Streaming. Steam Deck runs Linux, and the Xbox app doesn’t support PC streaming.

    You’ll have to install Windows to play Windows Store games on Steam deck natively or stream using a third party solution from a Windows PC
