    No online play Forza Horizon series X


    I've posted tickets at Xbox.com and on the Forza forums, so far no response. Since I upgraded to the series x I am unable to join online sessions in fh4. After about a minute of trying I get an error message saying that the game can't find any servers. There doesn't seem to be anyone else posting about this issue so I'm alone in this?

    I have uninstalled and reinstalled it, it is on the internal drive, all of my dlc is present and working, but no connection to servers. My nat is open. My Xbox is DMZ'd on my router because I couldn't get an open nat to save my life.

    The only thing I can think of, and would love a confirmation before black Friday sales are over, is that the game pass series x version does not include online play. I'll happily pay for the game if that will fix it.

    Otherwise I've about given up, the only people posting similar issues to mine were pc players, so not relevant and thier fixes were outside the abilities of the Xbox.

    Oh I should include, the game had no online prior to my putting the box in DMZ, I was hoping that would be a fix, but I'm keeping it there since it fixed my nat issues. A good portion of this games playability is locked to online, and since dropping 600 dollars on a new system, I have no access to it. Feels bad.

    Thanks! The weird thing is, this issue only happens with series x games. Forza horizon 4 looks perfect. It’s just the new multiplayer halo and Forza Horizon 5.

    Can I play Forza motorsport 1-4 on my series x? I bought the discs but I didn't research whether they work on the series x.

    Sadly none of the Forza Motorsport games made for the Xbox 360 are compatible with the Xbox One or Series X. Only the first Forza Horizon works.
