No one will help me get this game running.

I am trying to play morrowind on xbox 360. This is the only way i can play this game, otherwise i wouldn’t be using this platform. When i try to open the game, i get a popup that says “Game Error: The game couldn’t start”. I have talked to many xbox support
chat people, one saying i need to CONTACT ZENIMAX MEDIA, and tell them the game server is down. Another told me to ask the “Main Support”. Everyone is trying to dodge helping me. The game is advertised as backwards compatible and I was able to spend my money,
buy, and install it, and yet i can’t even open the game. Very aggravating since iv’e always wanted to play this game and i thought i finally could.

Are you using an official MS brand hard drive or was it purchased separately from a 3rd party or used? Are you able to test any other backwards compatible games?

Typically issues with backwards compatible games on the 360 are due to the hard drive. There are a lot of knock off drives out there and they will not run backwards compatible titles.

Everything is updated, i am connected to xbox live. I have deleted and reinstalled 4 times now.

I have already tried this. The hardrive is labeled “microsoft”. No hardware has ever been replaced, this xbox has barely been used.

So the first question i have is whetter or not this was a physical disc purchase or digital purchase?

if its a digital one, i would suggest a reinstall of the entire game.

I took a look to see if this problem has been encountered before and so far only issue ive seen is a 360 not having an official hard drive so doesnt really pertain to your problem much. Although i would make sure everything on your console is updated

It is digital and i have deleted and reinstalled a few times already.
