No notification sound on Xbox Family on iPhone

Hello,

I have been using the Xbox Family app on a few iPhones and for whatever reason, when a request is sent for additional time, I only receive a popup and no sound. So unless I am watching the screen all of the time, I don't see the notifications. Also, I do have sound enabled for the app in the iPhone notification settings, as I have seen that as a recommended solution.

Is anyone else having this issue and found a resolution for it?

Normally that should be merely a bug, I advise you to try to uninstall and reinstall the app, since you are sure sound is already enabled in the app.

Thanks for the suggestion and I uninstalled the app, rebooted my iPhone, reinstalled the app and still only getting the pop-up notification and no sound.

Any other ideas to try?

Sounds like an issue in the app if you can log in normally.

Any error message or notification when you log into your account?

Does your iphone or the xbox app itself need updating?

If everything is up to date I find what solves most issues on iphones is to delete the app and reinstall and see if that works.
