    No more multiplayer on Minecraft after update?


    My son did an update on Minecraft a few months ago and lost the ability to use multiplayer. I have tried unplugging it, cleared the system cache, deleted the game from the console, and yesterday I formatted (erased all data from) the hard drive. I put
    in the original disk, so essentially it should be like a new machine and new disk, right? But they still can't multiplay. They were able to until they did an update a few months ago, and they just want to play together again. Does anyone have any ideas?

    Also log into his account, start a game of minecraft and check his settings for the game. After the last update many found that the game settings had changed and were blocking multiplayer. Also to play split screen on minecraft you need an HDMI cable.

    Please make sure that you are online and your friends are online as well. Because being offline can prevent you from joining multiplayer games.

    And then verify multiplayer settings. To do this, kindly open Minecraft and go to Settings > Profile. Ensure that the multiplayer game toggle is turned on. One more thing, verify that the settings for the specific world you are trying to join and make sure multiplayer is enabled.

    Next is to restart your router, a simple router restart can resolve connectivity issues. Turn off your router, wait for about 30 seconds, and then turn it back on.

    Then check firewall and security settings. It is important that your firewall or security software is not blocking Minecraft. Kindly add Minecraft as an exception in your firewall settings.

    Kindly check as well that both Minecraft and your operating system are updated to the latest versions.

    If the issue persists after performing the troubleshooting steps, please uninstall and then reinstall Minecraft. This will delete the corrupted files from your game.

    Minecraft xbox edition is not the right minecraft game you want. you need to go on the store and get the other minecraft. the other minecraft is the one that is more up to date and has multiplayer and all this new stuff.
